Control System Design with Closed Loop Mode on Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (cvt) to Boost Performance

Use of automatic transmission systems in motor vehicles in addition to improving the ride comfort is also expected to reduce fuel consumption. The principle of the system Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is producing a variation of the ratio of the displacement system (i) as a function of velocity. The main problem is to change the variator CVT push-belt continuously variable from PULLEY (VDP) to be able to reduce the slip factor. Several attempts to solve problems such CVT Prasetyo (2007) developed a CVT for Smart Car research by using a single drive by using the hydraulic actuator control system Fuzzy. In this research the development of wheel slip rates maintained in condition of 20% and the desired results obtained from 10 to 15%, but average losses rotation ratio average of 70.3% due to slip between the belt and PULLEY. While Ariyono (2008) designed a system using a CVT with a helical screw actuator to adjust the gear ratio of CVT. The design was successfully reduce the slip factor with the efficiency ratio of approximately 60% and 90% efficiency torque is applied when the average (steady state) 20 seconds. However the solution the solution still has a weakness in the CVT ratio change response generated is still slow. In this study designed CVT system using closedloop system using a proportional electric mode for controlling the actuators Fork Push Screw Belt, with the help of the ideal of the CVT calculation using MATLAB software and software testing using DELPHI. The analysis is expected between the ideal and the actual analysis indicated with effisensi achieved control system. Results CVT with 2 actuators capable of producing increased efficient CVT ratio to 53,056% and the efficiency of torque between 67,12% 70,26% so as to reduce the slippage factor, when steady state is less than 18,07 seconds which can reduce the error to be 8.8 rad / s equivalent of 3,22%.
